When the owners of Furniture Deals, Lance Barnes and Eric Baker were approached by Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, they felt honored to be a part of such a great cause making the decision to contribute without question.  “Our entire Furniture Deals family was excited to have the opportunity to be involved with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. When we were approached for the project, we knew nothing about the family and their situation. What we did know was that Extreme Makeover: Home Edition has a reputation for helping families in need since 2003 and Furniture Deals was ready to be a part of it,” said Lance Barnes. “When we learned about the family’s situation and Staff Sergeant Allen Hill, an Iraq War Veteran who was almost killed serving our country and now suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PSTD) and unable to reside with his family at their previous residence, we were pleased to know we would be furnishing the home of such a deserving family in their time of need.”

What else can you do to keep your purchase looking new?

For any oily grease stains, such as left by a buttery substance, simply wipe your leather clean.  Do not add water; they don’t mix even on leather!

The best first attempt for other messes is to wipe up any moisture with a clean cloth.  Use warm water before letting your furniture air dry.  If the stain persists, use a clean sponge to gently wipe down with mild, non-detergent soap.  Rinse all soap away before air drying.

Keeping your leather furniture away from direct sunlight and away from heat sources (vents and radiators) will also help you enjoy your investment longer!
